Elevating a National Convocation Through Strategic Visual Br

Project Overview

 Apostle Carlton L. Sydnor, Presiding Prelate of the International Churches of Deliverance, partnered with Allen Studios Charlotte to develop a cohesive visual campaign for a multi-day, multi-event national gathering—The Seventh Holy Convocation 2026.


This campaign required more than graphics—it demanded a unified brand experience that could carry spiritual authority, organizational structure, and promotional clarity across multiple platforms.

THE CHALLENGE

 The scope included several distinct events:

  • Pre-Convention Workers Meeting 
  • Full Convocation Schedule 
  • Morning Glory Services 
  • Oil Pouring & Holy Communion 
  • Ministry Workshops 
  • Women’s Department Luncheon 
  • Prayer & Prophetic Clinic 


Each piece needed to:

  • Maintain brand consistency 
  • Highlight different speakers and experiences 
  • Communicate clear scheduling and logistics 
  • Appeal to both traditional church audiences and modern viewers

Creative Direction

 Allen Studios established a visual system rooted in:

1. Regal Authority

  • Gold gradients, deep blacks, and royal tones 
  • Symbolism reflecting leadership, legacy, and apostolic covering 

2. Spiritual Atmosphere

  • Light flares, glowing accents, and soft motion textures 
  • Visual cues representing glory, oil, and divine movement 

3. Modern Clarity

  • Clean typography hierarchy 
  • Strategic information flow for readability across mobile + print

Design System Breakdown

 Hero Identity (Convocation Branding)

  • Large-scale typography (“HOLY CONVOCATION”) establishes dominance 
  • Crest integration reinforces organizational identity 
  • Dual leadership placement balances authority (Sydnor + Lewis)

Event-Specific Graphics System

 Each graphic was uniquely tailored while staying on-brand:

  • Workers Meeting: Corporate + executive tone 
  • Morning Glory: High-energy, vibrant worship aesthetic 
  • Communion Service: Sacred, reverent, minimal elegance 
  • Workshops: Informational + structured clarity

Audience-Focused Design (Women’s Department)

  •  Bold color shift (pink, gold, magenta) 
  • Fashion-forward aesthetic to match theme 
  • Designed to resonate emotionally and socially

Professional & Community Engagement (Clinic Branding)

  • Clean, medical-inspired design language 
  • Trust-building visuals (white coats, blue tones) 
  • Positioned ministry as practical and community-serving

UX & Information Flow Strategy

 Across all assets, Allen Studios implemented:

  • Top → Bottom Reading Flow 
    • Organization → Event → Speakers → Date → Location → CTA 
  • Visual Anchors 
    • Faces (leadership) 
    • Titles (event name) 
    • Buttons/QR codes (conversion points) 
  • Mobile Optimization 
    • Large fonts 
    • High contrast 
    • Quick-scan readability

Brand Consistency System

 Despite multiple designs, consistency was achieved through:

  • Repeated color hierarchy (gold, navy, black, accent tones) 
  • Consistent logo placement 
  • Structured typography pairing 
  • Cohesive lighting and glow effects
